Being friendly to colleagues at work doesn't just make for a nicer workplace atmosphere, it makes for a more productive and resilient environment.

When co-workers feel comfortable in each other’s company, it makes it easier for them to collaborate and support each other. They feel like they can freely share ideas and trust each other to get the work done. It also helps them to deal with the pressures of the job and any problems that might arise. Colleagues know they can rely on each other in challenging times, offering each other help and support.

This course covers how to be a friendly co-worker while remaining professional in the workplace.

Firstly, we look at how to build connections with co-workers, finding common ground to help you get on well. Then we look at how to treat colleagues with respect so that these connections can survive the pressures of the workplace.

Next we look at how to communicate well, showing you how to make space for disagreements while remaining on good terms. Finally, we focus on how to be supportive of your colleagues, helping them to overcome problems and succeed at their goals.
