Overview
Whether someone is playing, coaching, officiating, volunteering, managing a team, or organising events, mental health can affect performance, participation, relationships, confidence, and safety. In this course, you’ll explore the difference between mental health and mental illness, common challenges people may face, and the impact these can have.
In this course, you’ll explore what mental health means in sport and physical activity settings, the pressures that can affect players, coaches, officials, volunteers and staff, and how poor mental health can show up on and off the field.
