Over half a million workplace accidents occur each year, with 168,000 of those employees being absent for 7 days or more. Illness affects people in the workplace also, in total nearly 38.8 million working days are lost each year, with 0.7 million workers sustaining a nonfatal injury. These statistics highlight the importance of having an awareness of first aid.
In this course you will understand why, when, and how to deliver basic first aid treatment.
