And learning how to support children who have experienced domestic abuse in the home will help you take a child-centred approach to safeguarding.

• Define domestic abuse so you have a developed understanding of the challenges children and families experiencing it may encounte
• Identify the signs that a student might be living in a home where domestic abuse is occurring so you know what to look out for
• Recall how to support a child who has been exposed to domestic abuse so you can take steps to safeguard them
