County Lines eLearning Course

Overview

This CPD-certified, level-2 e-learning course is suitable for anyone working with children and young people. The course includes optional voiceover recorded by a professional actor.

It is specifically designed to give learners a good understanding of "county lines" as an issue that involves drugs, violence, gangs, trafficking, modern slavery and child criminal exploitation. It will also equip you to recognise the signs and take action.

Course Content

• What is Country Lines and who is Affected - looking at what is involved with "county lines" as an issue that involves drugs, violence, gangs, trafficking, modern slavery and child criminal exploitation, focusing on how it affects children, young people and vulnerble adults. Looking too at "cuckooing" as a behaviour used by criminals to exploit victims.
• Spotting the Signs and Taking Action - looking at the common signs and indicators relating to county lines, the key barriers to disclosure for both young people and professionals, and what action you should take.
